What is Packbay?
Packbay is a shared travel planner for families, households and groups of friends. Trips, checklists, day plans, budgets, bookings and country knowledge stay in sync in one place, so everyone travels with the same plan.
How do groups plan trips together?
You create a trip, invite fellow travellers into your household and then plan together. Checklist, day plan and budget updates stay visible to everyone in sync.
Who builds Packbay?
Packbay is developed and operated in Germany by Eric Schubert. The focus is private travel planning without ads, without tracking and with personal support at support@packbay.app.

How much does Packbay cost?
The core features — trips, checklists, day plan and budget — are free. Your own trip inbox for booking confirmations and the country report are part of Packbay Premium (subscription).
Do I need an iPhone or Android device?
No. Packbay runs in your browser at web.packbay.app. The iPhone and Android apps are available on the App Store and Google Play; the iPhone app also includes Home and Lock Screen widgets.
Can several people see the same trip?
Yes. Trips, shared checklists and day plans are visible to everyone travelling with you. Private checklists stay visible only to you.
Is my data analysed?
We do not analyse your content for advertising or track you across other companies’ apps or websites. We process technical error, performance, security and support data as described in our privacy policy.
How do I sign in?
At web.packbay.app — you sign up there for free or log in with your account. You then invite your fellow travellers into your household.
